Although this proposal did not materialise, in 1873 Franz Rieger and his son provided a description of the current pipe organ along with the realised proposal for the construction of a new pipe organ with cone valve chests (see Appendix no. 2). Marked as the second opus of the Rieger Company in Krnov, this pipe organ has survived without major changes and represents a milestone in the development of the pipe organ production because of its status as the first remaining pipe organ with cone valve chests produced in the Czech lands.
