In addition to the hand-chopped and prefabricated mosaic glass (pressed in plier moulds) and sintered mosaic described in literature, the article examines the production of mosaics and mosaic prefabricates from cut bars which were produced in Zelezny Brod in the 1950s. The reader learns about additional ways of using bars in mosaic artworks. The article explains differences between vertically and rotationally pressed cubes, localises their production, provides dating, and specifies their appearance. Furthermore, the production technology of cast (rolled) mosaic cubes, which are often mistaken for the sintered ones, is described. Finally, the summary presents the history of flat glass mosaic art. The artworks made of different types of mosaic cubes accompany the various mosaic cube production technology descriptions. ER
