The results of research helped specify and expand current knowledge concerning the building history of the castle. The eastern front of the core revealed masonry that was part of the disappeared structure, probably a tower from the period of the castle construction (second half of the 14th century). Interiors of a reconstructed structure were examined in the southern wing of the core; the structure's courtyard wall was additionally narrowed from the inside. The shape of the surviving windows and high-quality architecture decoration of the facades indicate that it was a large castle chapel. Apparently, the chapel was part of the original castle. The western wing of the core encompasses a representation hall with a Renaissance vault. The ceiling was part of the western wing which was erected during the Late Gothic Era. Residues of an octagonal kitchen chimney were uncovered in the northern wing in the newer backfilled vault. An area fortified with a moat on the outside was found in the eastern foreground of the castle. They are probably remains of a military camp which was adjacent to the compound in the first half of the 15th century. ER
