It disappeared in the mid-15th century, and the Janaurs of Strachnov replaced it with a fortress erected directly in the village around the first third of the 16th century. A rectangular palace enlarged into a five-space two-story structure in the Renaissance remained from the fortress. After the mid-17th century, a prismatic tower was built which was transformed into a staircase tower during the Baroque renovation around 1700. At that time, more wings were built resulting in an enclosed four-wing palace. At the beginning of the 1850 s, the Seilern family rebuilt the palace extensively in a Neo-Gothic style. Nonetheless, the gradually expanding structure shaped by the construction in the first third of the 16th century as well as the Renaissance and Baroque renovations has survived to the present.
